For Students
As a student, your help can be extremely beneficial to other students. Since students are under the same circumstances at school, they understand each other the most. Peer-to-peer learning is one of the most – if not the most – effective ways to learn and master anything. When applied to a school environment, peer to peer learning greatly improves your grades and academic success!
Using Peersdom, students can easily find other students to connect with, learn from, and help to get smarter and gain community service hours. Each user who is a student must belong to a school that has a Peersdom peer learning program and a Peersdom school administrator. When setting up his or her profile, each student selects the school he or she goes to and is later verified by the school’s Peersdom administrator. Next, each student selects his or her current grade and the subjects he or she specializes in (we’ve provided a variety of subjects ranging from musical instruments to programming languages to every AP subject, so we hope to have covered them all by default. However, please contact us if you would like a subject added). After that, students can search for other students, view their profiles, and connect & communicate with them for learning and helping opportunities. Students set up learning sessions in an easy way and can do so with whomever they choose. Every student and session will be approved by the school’s Peersdom administrator in order to ensure only students who attend the school and only sessions that took place are validated.
Students can also reach out to working professionals for advice and help. Students can view each professional’s credentials via LinkedIn and decide to reach out and set up learning sessions with him or her.
