People
There are two types of people we serve: students and professionals. Both can use Peersdom to keep track of their hours spent helping their fellow school or work peers. More importantly, students and professionals learn optimally using the app to set up peer learning sessions. School or organization administrators must also set up accounts to monitor the users that belong to their school or organization. Administrators approve session hours.
Process
Users first set up their profile, putting down the subjects they specialize in teaching along with their grade and school they go to if they are students, and just the organization they work for if they are professionals. Afterward, users can set up learning sessions through chatting with each other, offering to help other users’ requests for help, and accepting those offers to help. Once an offer to help is accepted, a peer learning session can be created.
